Abstract
This study was designed to know the immunologic role related with ¢¥sinobronchitis. Of 163 cases complaining of chronic dough, 49 cases who had sinopulmonary infection on X-ray findings were selected for this study. The concentrations of serum IgG, IgA- and IgM were measured by innm modiffusion method and the serum IgE level was measured by paper disc radio immunosorbent technique (PRIST). The result was as follows.
1. The mean concentrations of serum IgG, IgA and IgM in the patients with sino-pulmonary infection were 925 184 - mg/dl, 146 52 mg/ d1 and 63 t 27 mg/ dl respectively. The mean concentration of these patients did not show any difference from the normal mean value. But in children below 6 years of age (6 cases), their IgG showed lower levels than normal (P < 0.05).
2. The mean concentration of serum IgE in the patients was 16.8 16.0 KUiL and no difference was found in comparison of the values of normal control and the patients.
3. According to our results, we can not conclude clearly about the relation of IgE and sinobronchitis.
